Music has always been a part of my life, whether it be playing differnet instruments or creating my own tunes on digital production sites. I also listen to music whenever I can, so today I wanted to talk about the favorite songs that like to listen to and why. Vista Steel Pan Instruments by Sharlene Luke

This blog post is presenting my radio commercial for steelpans. One of my favorite musical isntruments to play is the Steelpan. It is one of the most recongizable instruments in the Carribean. My mother taught me how to play this isntrument at a very young age. Around seven years ago, I started covering songs on my personal Steelpan that I liked to listen to, and ever since then I try to cover as many songs on my free time. Personally, this instrument brings me closer to my Carribean cutlure, since most of my relaitves live in the Carribean on two small islands called Trinidad and Tobago. I was trully blessed to learn this instrument at such a young age, and continue to do so as the years go by.

Person on the Street (POS) Interview Project by Sharlene Luke

 For this interview Project, I decided to ask this question to a few staff and faculty at SC State Universtiy: When Kentaji Brown Jackson was nominated to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, what was your reaction?
